
French Onion Chicken

This French Onion Chicken one of her all time favorite recipe!
This Weight watchers French Onion Chicken Simple and easy to whip up!

-1/2 white or yellow onion
-1/2 cup +3tbsp beef broth
-1 tbsp flour
-2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
-salt, pepper , & Italian seasoning
-2oz Trader Joe’s lite mozzarella
Preheat oven to 400. In a skillet add onions, Pam spray some butter spray, 3tbsp of beef broth and sauté until brown and tender.
Transfer onions to a bowl. Cook chicken in the same pan (seasoned with salt pepper and Italian seasoning) until browned on each side.
Transfer chicken to a plate and return onions to skillet. Sprinkle flour onto onions and stir, then add 1/2 cup beef broth.
Stir until mixture comes to a boil/thickens.
Pour mixture into 9×13 pan and then add the chicken on top. Top each chicken with 1oz cheese and bake for 20 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
Spoon the onions and gravy over chicken and enjoy! 1 point for 1 chicken breast (with the cheese)
